Ruscon, a pivotal player in multimodal transportation and a proud member of the Delo Group, celebrates the inauguration of a cutting-edge warehouse in Moscow. This facility is tailored specifically for handling and storing small consignments arriving via road and rail containers as part of the reconstruction program at the IANP.Spanning an impressive 1,440 square meters, this heated warehouse hosts 396 pallet spaces and boasts a covered ramp for the seamless receipt and dispatch of prefabricated cargoes. Complementing this setup is a dedicated loading and unloading zone adjacent to the warehouse, strategically positioned to streamline the handling of rail-arriving cargo at the Kresty station.
Sergey Beryozkin, Head of Ruscon, highlighted, “The burgeoning market for containerized small consignments, driven by increased shipments from China and the upsurge in intra-Russian traffic, necessitated a specialized terminal within our infrastructure. This new warehouse caters specifically to our e-commerce segment clientele. Moreover, its strategic placement in the southern precinct of New Moscow, adjacent to a major thoroughfare, ensures efficient and convenient logistics for cargo transit.”
As part of its ongoing modernization thrust, Ruscon has successfully commissioned a new container terminal at the Orlovka station in the Volgograd region. Further reinforcing its commitment, investments have been made at the R-4 terminal in Novorossiysk, including acquiring new equipment and establishing enhanced access roads. These initiatives underscore Ruscon’s dedication to progressive and efficient logistics solutions. < Back to list
