Now, in addition to minor "cosmetic" repairs, Global Ports customers can hand over twenty- and forty-foot containers, as well as specialized bulk cargo containers, for full maintenance. The work includes a comprehensive inspection, welding, metalwork, repairs, and, if necessary, replacement of components and structural elements that have exhausted their service life.
To provide new services, Petrolesport equipped specialized facilities, additionally trained personnel, and received a certificate of compliance with the requirements of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RS). This guarantees that the work complies with industry quality standards.
Global Ports CCO Igor Pukhov emphasized convenience and efficiency of the new service for customers: "The expanded container repair service at the Petrolesport terminal will allow clients not only to order any volume of repair work for their equipment at the best price, but also to do it faster, reducing logistics costs and downtime."
In accordance with RS requirements, containers must undergo an overhaul urgently - upon the fact of operational damage - and on a planned basis - within 5 years from the date of construction and 2.5 years after the previous overhaul.
In 2026, Petrolesport plans to build its own container repair shop. The project has already received a positive approval of the expert examination of the design documentation of capital construction facilities. Global Ports also offers a container repair service at Yanino Logistics Park on the border with St. Petersburg in the Leningrad Region. This is convenient for companies that transport container cargo by rail. < Back to list
