The bulk of the funds were funneled to acquire 1.2k 80’ flatcars. This helped fully replenish the disposal of approximately 800 end-of-life 60’ wagons and ensure a gain in the inhouse fleet capacity to within 2.7k TEUs.
In addition, the company acquired 6.6k 40’ large-tonnage containers in 2024. By purchasing new containers, TransContainer will renovate its fleet to decrease the age of containers in operation and thus reduce the repair costs and improve the service quality.
RUB 2.2 billion were allocated to the construction and modernization of the terminal network in 2024. These funds were channeled to the further implementation of projects commenced in past periods at the key transportation hubs. Some of those projects include: development of the Kleschikha terminal (Novosibirsk), construction of the Sedelnikovo (Yekaterinburg) and Uglovaya (Primorye Territory) terminals, reconstruction of the Magnitogorsk, Chernikovka (Ufa) and Rostov-Tovarny terminals, and also renovation of the lifting and production equipment and motor vehicles.
Another RUB 0.7 billion were invested into digitization projects, including customer services like iTrans and iSales. < Back to list
