Delo Group Financed the Construction of a Building at the Izmalkovo Boarding House for Children with Cancer

Delo Group has supported the construction of one of the buildings at the Izmalkovo Boarding House for Children with Cancer, an initiative of the Gift of Life charitable foundation.

The new two-storey building will provide comfortable accommodation for families whose children are receiving outpatient treatment at the Dmitry Rogachev National Medical Research Center of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology and Immunology. The facility will ease the hospital’s patient load while offering a home-like environment that helps children recover faster. Each family will have a private room with an individual bathroom. A large playground has been built nearby, and with Delo Group’s support, outdoor furniture has been installed and landscaping work carried out. In the spring of 2026, maple trees will be planted on the playground.

Since 2023, employees of Delo Group have also participated in volunteer clean-up and improvement activities at the boarding house.

The Izmalkovo Boarding House is an infrastructure project of the Gift of Life Foundation, implemented through targeted donations from individuals and companies. The construction of all facilities is scheduled for completion in 2025, with commissioning planned for 2026. Once fully operational, the complex will accommodate up to 1,175 families per year, housing 78 families across eight two-storey buildings. According to the Foundation, the launch of the boarding house will enable the Dmitry Rogachev Center to expand its capacity by 15–20%, allowing around 230 additional children to receive care annually. All facilities meet the highest safety standards for children undergoing treatment. The grounds feature children’s and sports areas, recreation zones, a greenhouse, and a vegetable garden for joint activities involving children, parents, and volunteers.
