International Joint-Stock Company Global Ports Investments (‘Global Ports’ or the ‘Company’, together with its subsidiaries and joint ventures, the ‘Holding’, part of Delo Group, a subsidiary of Rosatom State Corporation) today announces its operational results for Q3 and 9M 2026.
Consolidated marine container throughput at Global Ports’ terminals increased by 2.6% y-o-y in Q3 2026 to 280 thousand TEU. Growth was recorded in both basins in which the Holding operates: 1.2% y-o-y in the Baltic basin and 5.4% y-o-y in the Far East basin. Marine container throughput at Global Ports’ terminals increased by 9% in July–September compared with Q2 2026.
In 9M 2026, the Holding’s consolidated marine container throughput decreased by 4.9% to 795 thousand TEU, as the acceleration in growth in Q2 and Q3 was insufficient to offset the decline in Q1 caused by severe ice conditions in the Baltic basin and the market slowdown at the start of the year. Marine container throughput in the Far East basin increased by 16.1% y-o-y in 9M 2026.
As the Holding places less emphasis on coal handling in favour of higher-margin cargo types, particularly fertilisers, consolidated non-containerised cargo throughput declined by 21.7% y-o-y in Q3 and by 20.1% y-o-y in 9M 2026, reaching 4.1 million tonnes for the nine-month period. Fertiliser throughput increased by 9.0% y-o-y in Q3 and by 2.8% y-o-y in 9M 2026. Excluding coal, non-containerised cargo throughput increased by 0.7% y-o-y in 9M 2026.
The Company’s management expects demand for container and non-containerised cargo handling to increase in both basins in which the Holding operates in the coming months, amid continued instability in global maritime and local logistics chains.
