The meeting was attended by Lilia Gumerova, Chair of the Federation Council Committee on Science, Education and Culture; Artur Niyazmetov, Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Central Federal District; representatives of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation; business leaders; and members of the academic community.
At the session, Maria Kobzeva, Deputy Director General for Public Relations at Delo Group, presented the company’s corporate program to support fertility, motherhood, and childhood. The program, launched on the initiative of Sergey Shishkarev, was first presented by the Group’s founder in December 2024 at a State Council meeting on Family Support chaired by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
To share best practices with other Russian companies, Delo Group experts, together with the D.I. Mendeleev Institute for Demographic Policy, developed a corporate demographic standard based on the Group’s own support measures. The standard is available on the Smarteka platform and has already inspired many companies to expand their support for employees with children.
“We recognize our responsibility to create a supportive work environment for employees with families. Supporting fertility and family well-being increases the company’s attractiveness in the labor market, strengthens employee loyalty, and boosts engagement. The task of the working group is to collect and systematize best corporate practices and, based on this experience, put forward proposals, including at the legislative level, so that corporate support measures are both effective and complementary to state programs,” said Sergey Shishkarev.
In February, President Vladimir Putin signed a decree approving the regulations and composition of the Presidential Council on Demographic and Family Policy, chaired by Valentina Matvienko, Chairwoman of the Federation Council. A dedicated working group was established under the Council to advance corporate practices in supporting fertility and introducing demographic standards. < Back to list
