Global Ports, Russia’s leading operator of marine container terminals, part of Delo Group, has launched a chatbot for customers on the Telegram messenger platform. The utility serves as an operational communication channel between carriers and forwarders on the one hand and Global Ports terminals on the other. Its implementation will speed up and simplify the information exchange and improve the quality of customer service.The development of the bot, as well as its synchronisation with the information systems and databases of the holding company, was ensured by experts from DeloTech, the IT integrator of the Delo Group.
The bot can be used by customers of five marine terminals: Petrolesport, First Container Terminal and Moby Dik in the Big Port of St. Petersburg, Ust-Luga Container Terminal in the port of Ust-Luga, and the Far Eastern terminal in the port of Vostochny. With its help, customers can make enquiries and receive online information on the status of containers handling with import and export cargo, availability of slots for truck visits, as well as check the status of accreditation of cars and drivers to visit terminals.
