DeloTech, the IT integrator of Delo Group, has expanded the functionality of its iTrans multimodal transportation management system. The system now consolidates data on import shipments and enables users to track operations for each shipment.Previously, transport and regulatory documents—including SMGS rail consignment notes, commercial invoices, cargo specifications, phytosanitary certificates, and others—were submitted by customers and subcontractors involved in the transportation process through several third-party systems. This complicated oversight and slowed down cargo handling. The information is now consolidated within the unified iTrans digital environment, providing electronic access to documents throughout the cargo’s journey. The status of document preparation and submission can also be tracked in real time, increasing the transparency of document workflows and improving service quality control.
The solution is already operational at the Zabaikalsk–Manzhouli rail border crossing between Russia and China. Delo Group plans to introduce the technology at other border crossings across its network of rail terminals.
“A unified digital environment helps expedite customs procedures and reduce the risk of errors in the processing of transport documents. This is a practical example of how digital solutions improve the efficiency of the entire logistics chain,” said Boris Sopelnik, Director for Information Technologies at Delo Group and General Director of DeloTech. < Back to list
