Global Ports’ Far East Terminal Expands Service Line from China

The Global Ports terminal in Vrangel Bay, Primorsky Krai, part of the Delo Group, has handled the first vessel call under a new scheduled container service connecting Vostochny Port with Ningbo, China. The service is operated by Global Ports’ new partner, Chinese shipping company SLK ROAD SHIPPING LIMITED.

The new service provides customers with an additional logistics solution for the efficient transportation of cargo between Russia and China via Global Ports’ terminal in Primorsky Krai. The service is operated by the 330-TEU container vessel SINO 5, which will call at Vrangel three times a month.

Together with the Delo Group’s railway operator, Global Ports provides regular rail transportation of import containers on express container trains across Russia. Rail transit time to the Moscow transport hub is 11 days.

In addition to the new service to Ningbo, Global Ports’ terminal in Vrangel regularly handles scheduled container services to other Chinese ports, including Shanghai, Qingdao, Taicang, and Rizhao.
