Global Ports Welcomes Eurosib’s New Container Service Linking Vrangel with Chinese Ports

The Far East terminal of Global Ports (part of the Delo Group) in Vrangel Bay (Primorsky Krai), has started handling a new scheduled marine container service operated by Eurosib transport and logistics company to the ports of Qingdao and Ningbo in China.

This service is operated by the 1,150-TEU container vessel HONG LI CHANG JIU, which calls at the Global Ports terminal in Vrangel at least twice a month. The new route offers customers more options for fast delivery of import and export cargo between the Russian Far East and major Chinese port hubs. Transit time is 4 days to Ningbo and 8 days to Qingdao.

Upon arrival by sea to Globla Ports’ terminal in Vrangel, the import containers are then shipped via high-speed container trains to distribution centers in Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg, Moscow, and St. Petersburg.

Global Ports’ terminal in Vrangel is one of most modern marine container terminals in the Far East of Russia and the country. With its annual capacity of 700,000 TEU the terminal offers direct services by Russian and international marine shipping lines to the major ports in China, South Korea and India.
