The NUTEP container terminal and KSK grain terminal (both part of Delo-Ports, the stevedoring holding that manages Delo Group’s assets in Novorossiysk) confirmed their leadership positions in their respective market segments in the first half of 2026.
During the first six months of 2026, KSK handled 3.75 million tonnes of grain, up 90.5% compared with the same period of 2025. By the end of the 2025/2026 grain season, the terminal had transshipped 9.2 million tonnes, an in-crease of 26% over the previous season. KSK’s market share in the Azov-Black Sea Basin reached 21.3%. The growth in throughput was driven by a considerate grain harvest and the ongoing modernization of the terminal’s infrastructure.
NUTEP’s container throughput declined by 3.8% year-on-year to 348,000 TEU in the first half of 2026, while total container throughput across the Azov-Black Sea Basin’s seaports fell by 4%. Despite the market downturn, NUTEP re-tained its position as the largest container terminal in the Azov-Black Sea Basin and the second-largest container terminal in Russia.
“The results for the first half of the year and the finish of the grain season confirm the resilience and competitiveness of DeloPorts’ assets. KSK continues to lead among Russia’s deep-water grain terminals. Despite subdued dynamics in the container market, NUTEP has maintained its leading position in the Azov-Black Sea Basin and among Russia’s container terminals,” said Igor Yakovenko, CEO of DeloPorts.
