By decree of the President of the Russian Federation, senior executives of Delo Group’s Novorossiysk operations have been awarded state honors in recognition of their heroism, courage, professionalism, and personal contribution to safeguarding Russia’s critical infrastructure.The Medal of the Order “For Merit to the Fatherland,” Second Class was awarded to Igor Yakovenko, CEO of DeloPorts (which manages Delo Group’s assets in Novorossiysk), and Vitaly Kravtsov, Head of Security and Access Control at the Group’s grain terminal. The awards recognize the responsibility and dedication of employees who have ensured the uninterrupted operation of Delo Group’s container and grain terminals in the Azov-Black Sea Basin under increased operational pressure and external threats.
“Today, our colleagues in Novorossiysk are working under extraordinarily challenging conditions, with the Port of Novorossiysk facing constant attacks from both the air and the sea. Every day, alongside their unwavering professionalism, the Delo Group team - my fellow countrymen - demonstrates courage, exceptional composure, teamwork, and resilience. Their military backgrounds and strength of character have played an important role in this. I am sincerely proud of them and grateful to every one of them. I am confident that we will continue to carry out our mission with honor for the benefit of Russia,” said Sergey Shishkarev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Delo Group.
Both award recipients have extensive experience in law enforcement agencies as well as in the transport industry. Igor Yakovenko joined Delo Group in 2005 and has served as CEO of DeloPorts since 2015. Vitaly Kravtsov has been with the Group since 2017. < Back to list
