Delo Group and Astral Group (part of the 1C Ecosystem) signed a strategic cooperation agreement at SPIEF 2026 aimed at digitalizing document management in the transport and logistics sector. The agreement was signed by Andrey Sokolov, Deputy General Director for Government Relations at Delo Group, and Stepan Terekhin, Business Development Director at Astral Group. The partnership is focused on automating document workflows and the processing of electronic transportation and freight forwarding documents for Delo Group companies within the State Information System for Electronic Transportation Documents (GIS ETD).
Beginning September 1, 2026, the use of electronic transportation documents (ETD) will become mandatory for all participants in freight transportation in Russia. The cooperation includes the provision of ETD and electronic document interchange (EDI) operator services to Delo Group companies, as well as the organization of exchanges of electronic consignment notes, accompanying statements, work orders, waybills, charter agreements, and other transportation documents in accordance with Russian legislation.
In addition, the parties intend to integrate Delo Group’s digital services and accounting systems based on the 1C:Enterprise platform with the infrastructure of the ETD operator and GIS ETD.
“For Delo Group, the digitalization of transport documentation is one of the key elements in improving interactions with clients and partners. It is not merely a matter of regulatory compliance, but an important tool for accelerating logistics chains, increasing transparency, and reducing operating costs. Cooperation with Astral Group will enable us to implement a comprehensive solution in this area based on the infrastructure of a proven EPD operator, while maintaining integration with our existing accounting and digital systems,” said Andrey Sokolov, Deputy General Director for Government Relations at Delo Group.
“For major shippers and terminal operators, the speed of document processing directly affects cash-flow turnover and infrastructure capacity. Electronic transportation documents make it possible to track shipment status in real time, eliminate errors, and reduce document processing times from weeks to hours. Our role in this partnership is to provide an EPD operator infrastructure capable of supporting the real operational workload of one of the country’s largest transport and logistics holdings,” said Stepan Terekhin, Business Development Director at Astral Group. < Back to list
