Global Ports’ terminal in Wrangel Bay allocated 10 million rubles to renovate and equip the workshops. The development of the training space was completed as part of the federal "Professionalism" project.
Students now have access to 12 workshops featuring modern equipment, including high-tech lathes, laser machines, training stations for building electrical and electronic circuits, and programmable logic controllers for control systems. Special attention is given to training future mechanics: the workshops include the main components of wheeled vehicles, such as internal combustion engines, gearboxes, and a training system for automated warehouse release.
"Global Ports is committed to helping future specialists study, work, and thrive in their home region. Our terminal in Wrangel Bay is one of the most efficient and best-equipped terminals in Russia, so it’s important to us that young specialists are well prepared. We are grateful to the college for its dedication to port professions and are ready to work together to train students both in the workshops and right on the berths" emphasized Ilya Dolgy, General manager of Global Ports Far East Terminal.
In summer, 2025, the Global Ports terminal in Wrangel Bay became a partner in launching the new educational program “Transport Operations and Management” for Nakhodka College students.
In 2024, the terminal, the Primorsky region Government, and Nakhodka College signed a trilateral cooperation agreement to create an educational cluster as part of the federal "Professionalism" project at the college. < Back to list
