Global Ports Holding (part of the Delo Group), has acquired four new reachstackers for its north-western marine terminals. Three of these container handlers will be added to the fleet at the First Container Terminal (FCT), while one will be deployed at the Moby Dik terminal in Kronstadt. Both terminals are located within the Big Port of St. Petersburg. The new machines have been manufactured by the Chinese equipment manufacturer XCMG. These reachstackers boast a lifting capacity of 45 tons and are specifically designed for lifting, moving, and stacking twenty-foot and forty-foot containers.
Safety and operational efficiency have been prioritized with the inclusion of a modern automatic fire detection and extinguishing system. To further enhance maneuverability, driver safety, and comfort, the reachstackers are equipped with a built-in video monitoring system that provides 360-degree panoramic views and a top-down virtual projection, making navigation through the port's container yards much easier.
With the addition of this new equipment, a total of 11 reachstackers will now be operating at FCT, while five will be stationed at Moby Dik terminal. < Back to list
