Delo Group Delivers Moskvitch 6 Vehicles to Havana for Cuban Hospitals from Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin

Multimodal transport operator Ruscon (part of Delo Group) has provided full logistics support and delivery of a batch of ten Moskvitch 6 cars to Havana. The vehicles were donated to the Republic of Cuba for social needs by Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin.

In September, the cars were loaded into 40-foot containers at the Moskvitch manufacturing plant in Russia. The cargo was then transported by road to Delo Group’s terminal in Novorossiysk and shipped by sea to the Cuban port of Mariel. In November, a handover ceremony took place at Havana’s Salvador Allende Hospital. The donation was timed to coincide with the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the 65th anniversary of the restoration of diplomatic relations between Russia and Cuba. The vehicles will support pediatric and maternity services, as well as educational institutions.

Ruscon organized the full logistics chain: planning the multimodal route, on-site loading and unloading, securing the vehicles inside containers using specialized strap-based technology, providing export customs clearance, and coordinating the cargo’s acceptance in Cuba. < Back to list
