The NUTEP Container Terminal (part of DeloPorts, the stevedoring holding managing Delo Group’s assets in Novorossiysk) has opened a new training classroom to enhance employee qualifications in occupational health and safety.Previously, terminal employees had to take certification exams at the regional offices of Rostechnadzor. Now, testing and certification can be completed directly at the terminal through a unified online portal established in accordance with a Russian government decree. NUTEP also conducts internal health and safety training, with results automatically entered into the official register of the regional Ministry of Labor and Social Protection.
The new facility includes two lecture halls equipped with modern technology and can accommodate up to 42 trainees. Its opening helps save working time and accelerates employee professional development.
“Creating comfortable conditions for continuous skill development within the workplace improves productivity and operational safety. Remote learning allows employees to gain new knowledge without taking time off, ensuring steady professional growth, a strong corporate safety culture, and faster onboarding of new staff,” said Yuri Matvienko, CEO of NUTEP Container Terminal.
The company also plans to obtain an educational license to implement additional professional training and retraining programs, including those for blue-collar professions. < Back to list
