Teaching contest for teachers was held in Novorossiysk with the support of DeloPorts

Novorossiysk was the venue for a pedagogical contest with organizational and financial support from DeloPorts Stevedoring Holding (part of Delo Group). The event was the first of its kind and was attended by 46 teachers from 22 city schools.

Teachers proposed projects on improving the learning process, increasing student motivation and creating a cutting-edge educational environment in schools to the jury. The contest was held in three stages. Participants prepared an essay on the “Teacher of Your Time” subject in the format of a video, presentation, song or poem. The second stage included a discussion of the key trends in the education and upbringing of children. Then teachers took part in a business game aimed at assessing leadership, organizational and communication skills.

The winner of the competition was a teacher from School #31, the second place was taken by a teacher from School #19, the third place went to a teacher from the Marine Engineering Lyceum.

“Cooperation with educational institutions is an essential social component of the Delo Group's sustainability policy. The Group pays great attention to the professional guidance of young people, organizes internships and tours for students on a regular basis,” said Natalia Semevskaya, a jury member and Deputy General Director for Administrative Issues of DeloPorts LLC.

The event is designed to highlight the significance of education and the role of teachers, as well as to support talented educators who implement innovative learning methods and assist students in choosing their future profession.

Novorossiysk is a home region for Delo Group and the Group pays a great deal of attention to the city's development. For the second year in a row, a children's handball tournament is held among the city's secondary schools. The tournament is aimed at popularizing a healthy lifestyle and handball in Novorossiysk.

Chernomorochka, the first professional women's handball club, was founded in 2022 in Novorossiysk on the initiative of Sergey Shishkarev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Delo Group, and it immediately became the winner of the Russian Championship among women's teams of the Higher League, winning a ticket to the Super League of Russian women's handball.

Delo Group builds sports and social facilities and participates in charity projects. With the Group's support, the DELO SPORT complex was built in Abrau-Durso, where handball and football clubs hold training camps, and the Novorossiysk women's handball club Chernomorochka hosts rivals in the OLIMPBET Super League. < Back to list
