“We aspire for the primary transportation network to progress rapidly, aligning with the requirements of shippers, passengers, and the overall economy. We suggest contemplating the addition of a distinct goal aimed at increasing the contribution to GDP based on the projected indicators of the projects,” remarked S. Shishkarev.
Furthermore, the founder of Delo Group recommended supplementing the national project with a dedicated program that integrates all forms of transport into a unified digital system.
Shishkarev also called for the active involvement of the business community in the transportation sector to contribute to the overall development of the program. He emphasized that Delo Group is prepared to play an active role in this collaborative effort.
Presently, two significant national projects are underway in the transportation sphere: “Safe Quality Roads” and “Comprehensive Plan for Modernization and Expansion of Trunk Infrastructure”. Both projects aim to achieve their goals by the year 2024. The “Transport” National Project is set to succeed these initiatives. Its primary objective is to ensure the connectivity of all types of transportation infrastructure. The preliminary structure of the project outlines the formation of several federal projects geared towards achieving two socially significant outcomes: the augmentation of carrying capacity and throughput of the unified backbone transport network, along with the growth of transport infrastructure capacity for passenger traffic and a more than twofold increase in the connectivity of territories. < Back to list
