Ruscon signed a letter of intent with China's ZPMC for the supply of reach stackers
Multimodal transportation operator Ruscon (part of Delo Group) at the Eastern Economic Forum signed a letter of intent with China's ZPMC Corporation for the supply of reach stackers.
The document was signed by Sergey Berezkin, Head of Ruscon, and Xu Bo, General Director of ZPMC LLC. The parties expressed their interest in concluding a contract for the supply of new reach stackers, their quantity and technical characteristics will be additionally agreed upon during further negotiations.
Reach stackers are to be purchased within the program to reconstruct the MANP container logistic terminal in New Moscow. The project is to be implemented until 2025 and implies the terminal throughput capacity to increase up to 300 thousand TEU per year.
"The purchase of ZPMC reach stackers will be an important step in the future expansion of our MANP terminal. The project will increase the receipt and dispatch of trains within the multimodal and direct services of Delo Group from China, as well as relieve the Moscow transportation hub," said Sergey Berezkin.
