On April 24, 2022, multimodal logistics operator RUSCON, part of the Delo Group (the Group), dispatched its 150th container train under the Moscow Express service. The container train followed the Novorossiysk-Moscow route.
This service has been in operation since 2020, and during this period it has transported almost 7.5 thousand containers with various import cargoes. Trains are formed and dispatched from the NUTEP Container Terminal (part of the stevedoring asset of DeloPorts).
Commenting on the event, Andrey Chernyshev, the Senior Vice President of RUSCON said: “When we launched this route together with our colleagues from NUTEP, we were confident that it would be in demand among our customers. Premium quality service was offered to all other. So we need to admit that all the efforts of our teams were fully justified.
Over the last two years the volume of traffic on the Moscow Express service has been growing at an outstripping pace. If it took us almost 1.5 years to send the first 100 container trains, the dispatch of the next 50 took less than six months. But one thing has remained constant - the unflagging high quality of service and attention to each customer”.
