Delo Group customers can now calculate the carbon footprint of their cargo transportation

The Delo Group's website launched an online carbon footprint calculator for estimating greenhouse gas emissions from railway cargo transportation.

Now every customer can analyze and assess the environmental impact of their freight forwarding. This requires specifying the type of transportation, departure and arrival stations, type and volume of cargo.

The calculator provides highly accurate calculations and incorporates a variety of factors, from the degree of electrification of specific routes to emissions from terminal activities. Its mathematical formulas are based on the recommendations of the Global Logistics Emissions Council (GLEC), the foremost authority on greenhouse gas emission regulations for the transport and logistics industries.

“Now the Group's customers will be able to calculate the carbon footprint of cargo transportation online.
