The document elaborates and expands the cooperation agreement signed by the parties last June at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. The new clauses formalize the Group's extensive involvement in the preparation and implementation of the Strategic Master Plan of the Novorossiysk Municipal District until 2036, with a view to 2050. The Holding Company will also continue to support sponsorship of the Chernomorets soccer club and the Chernomorochka handball club.
"We maintain close cooperation with Novorossiysk and the Krasnodar Region, the homeground to Delo Group, as we implement investment and social projects in the region. We believe it is our responsibility to ensure that Novorossiysk grows as a city of our presence, and we expect that our assistance in developing the master plan will contribute to this goal. We will continue to support local professional and mass sports, and modernize both transport and social infrastructure,” said Ekaterina Lyakhova, CEO of Delo Management Company.
"Novorossiysk is an essential center for the export of Russian goods, which reinforces its value in the world arena. The deployment of new technologies and approaches in logistics can also help enhance conditions and streamline the delivery process, which will be an important step in the development of the entire region. This agreement aims to comprehensively address a number of challenges, including infrastructure development, social initiatives and business support, which will ultimately lead to an improved quality of life for people,” said Evgeny Pergun, Deputy Governor of the Krasnodar Region.
“Cooperation with Delo Group is a strategic factor in the development of Novorossiysk. The signing of the additional agreement, which details and expands the previously reached arrangements, is our common aspiration for deeper cooperation in the implementation of significant projects. The agreement will reinforce the hero city's economic base and optimize the existing infrastructure, which will undoubtedly benefit both businesses and local residents,” said Novorossiysk Mayor Andrey Kravchenko.
Delo Group was founded in 1993 in Novorossiysk by Sergey Shishkarev. The Group has constructed the NUTEP container terminal with a unique deep-water berth in the city's port from scratch, as well as the largest grain terminal on the Black Sea, KSK (both are part of the Group's DeloPorts stevedoring holding). Large-scale projects are currently underway to reconstruct the NUTEP terminal berth and build a fourth unloading line at the KSK grain terminal, which will increase their capacity to 1 million TEU and 10.5 million tons of grain per year, respectively.
Group companies are sponsors of sports clubs in the Krasnodar Region: Kuban and Chernomorochka women's handball clubs, and Chernomorets football club. < Back to list
