The modern building of the complex is equipped with everything necessary for organizing the assembly and training processes, for holding competitions at the regional and federal levels. It has spacious gaming rooms and related infrastructure. During the construction of the complex, special attention was paid to the possibility of training young athletes on its basis.
Igor Yakovenko, Chief Executive Officer of Management Company Delo, Alexander Vlasov, Deputy Governor of the Krasnodar Krai and Roman Breus, Deputy Governor of Novorossiysk, took part in the opening ceremony of the complex. A congratulatory telegram from the Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation Oleg Matytsin was read out.
When opening the complex, Igor Yakovenko thanked everyone involved in the creation of the facility and stressed: «The construction of the complex was a very important task. Not the most difficult in terms of engineering, it, nevertheless, was constructed for a specific event - the departure of our women's handball team to the Tokyo Olympics. Our girls went there in the rank of Olympic champions, we are sure they will defend this high title. The second most important mission of the complex is the Group's social responsibility to the residents of Novorossiysk, a region where our assets have been present for many decades. And the development of mass, first of all, children's and youth sports, has always been and remains the first priority for the head of the Handball Federation of Russia and our shareholder Sergey Shishkarev. Let us be higher, faster, stronger!».
After the opening of the new sports complex, a friendly match between the women's handball clubs of CSKA and Kuban took place. As a result, the desire to live a full sports life and achieve new victories won out.
