On 27th August 2021 Delo Group and Uralvagonzavod Concern (UVZ) on the sidelines of the PRO exhibition // Dvizhenie.Expo «Technology Transformation and New Environmental Thinking» signed an Agreement of Intent (Agreement). The signatories were Andrey Yashchenko, Senior Vice President on Economics and Finance of the Group's parent company Management Company Delo, and Boris Myagkov, Deputy General Director of UVZ.
The agreement is a framework and reflects the cooperation intentions of the Parties in the main areas of joint activities. They are related to the implementation of goals of the investment program of Delo Group, targeted on the renewal of rolling stock (fitting platforms), its repair, the production of containers of various types (including universal containers, refrigerated containers and special containers) and the construction of specialized rolling stock for contrailer transportation. A separate section of the Agreement provides for the exchange of experience in implementing the principles of sustainable development in the current activities of the companies.
Commenting on the signing of the Agreement, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Group Sergey Shishkarev emphasized: “Today we have set the framework for potential cooperation with such a large and responsible enterprise as Uralvagonzavod Corporation. Its practical implementation will allow our interested assets to confidently and effectively implement the investment programs and plans provided for in the Group's Development Strategy, for which significant funds are allocated. In addition, our interaction will allow us to enrich each other with experience in moving along the path of sustainable development”.
The signing of the Agreement is the first step aimed at practical support and development of domestic capacities for the production of innovative rolling stock and universal carriers (containers) of various types, which both companies have repeatedly announced earlier.

“We expect that the areas of interaction with Uralvagonzavod Corporation provided for in the Agreement of Intent will allow us not only to implement our investment development plans with high quality and guarantee, but also to do this through a domestic manufacturer with all the advantages of an economic and social nature” - said Andrey Yashchenko.
Boris Myagkov commented on the Agreement: “In today's dynamic world with high competition for intellectual resources and the need for a prompt response to market demands, the possibility of successful industry cooperation and consolidation of scientific, technical and production potential is a key condition for success. Now the industry, together with the largest market players, can only obtain a synergistic result in such a business structure. And the most important thing is to significantly reduce the time needed to bring new products to the market».
