In addition, the Group intends to finance and provide charitable assistance to children's and youth sports projects, support mass sports, as well as the most significant social initiatives.
"We continue to actively implement our investment program and expand the capabilities of our NUTEP and KSK terminals in Novorossiysk, and this agreement will allow us to increase the potential of its port infrastructure. In addition, together with the city administration, we intend to develop a master plan for Novorossiysk to ensure that its development in all important areas is carried out consistently and harmoniously. As for the sports and social component, Delo Group implements relevant projects throughout Russia, supporting professional handball and football in Krasnodar and Novorossiysk," said Denis Ilatovsky.
"Our business partners have many years of experience in the Kuban. They are engaged in the development of port and transport infrastructure and implement social and sports projects. I'm sure that under the agreement we have signed together we will contribute to the socio-economic development of Novorossiysk and the region as a whole. The effect from implementing the agreement we expect in the form of increased taxes and other payments to the city and Krai budgets, increased wages for employees, and the creation of new jobs," said Igor Galas.
"Today Novorossiysk needs to develop its social infrastructure - this is a priority task for the city. It is important for us that such large enterprises as Delo Group share this task with us. Only by joining our efforts, using all possible support mechanisms, we will strengthen the economic and social status of the city, we will allow it to develop in step with the times," - said Andrei Kravchenko.
Delo Group built from scratch in the port of Novorossiysk the NUTEP container terminal with a unique deep-water berth, as well as KSK, one of the largest grain terminals in the Black Sea (both are part of Delo Group’s stevedoring holding DeloPorts).
