Global Ports Enhances Equipment Fleet For Terminals in Kronstadt and Yanino

Operator of marine container and multipurpose terminals Global Ports (part of Delo Group) has purchased two new reachstackers: one for Moby Dik marine container terminal in Kronstadt, the other one for the inland terminal Yanino Logistics Park in the Leningrad Region (both terminals are part of Global Ports).

The machines were produced for Global Ports by SANY and are used for container handling and stacking allowing for more speedy and efficient yard and railway front operations. Reachstackers have a loading capacity of 45 tonnes. They are highly manoeuvrable and have an enhanced control system.

Among the important features of the new loaders is an integrated four-channel video control system. It provides the operator with full visibility of the spreader and the area around the reachstacker. This allows, on the one hand, to increase safety when using the equipment and, on the other hand, to improve operator's comfort.

With the new machines, there are now four reachstackers operating at Moby Dik Terminal and five at Yanino LP. < Back to list
