TransContainer has increased capacity of the container yard of Arkhangelsk terminal by 50 percent and capacity of the terminal itself by 23.5 percent

TransContainer has mounted 45-ton double-girder gantry crane at its terminal in Arkhangelsk and increased capacity of the container yard by 50 percent up to 630 TEU. Terminal capacity has been increased by 23.5 percent up to 27.1 thousand TEU a year.

A new crane has been mounted instead of an old one. Now containers can be triple-stacked instead of double-stack previously. While crane mounting the terminal has been operating on a routine basis.

TransContainer’s share at container transportation market in Arkhangelsk region has reached 41 percent. The main commodities are lumber, inhibitors, metalwork, pulps and papers. Building up infrastructure capacity in the region will ensure uninterrupted terminal operation to provide high quality services.

TransContainer has been steadily increasing capacity of its terminals, renovating and mounting new equipment. In 2024 TransContainer has allocated 2.2 billion rubles for these purposes. < Back to list
