The Group received the award for implementing a comprehensive program to boost birth rates and support motherhood and childhood. The initiative was launched by Sergey Shishkarev, Chairman of the Group’s Board of Directors, and is focused on improving the quality of life for employees with children, enhancing corporate social support, and contributing to Russia’s national demographic policy.
Delo Group has taken a flagship role in this area, becoming one of the first companies to adopt best practices for supporting employees’ families. The program aligns with President Vladimir Putin’s message that large families—those with three or more children—should become the norm in Russia.
“In just a few years, the demographic initiative put forward by our Chairman, Sergey Shishkarev, has shown its value. We’re seeing positive feedback from employees, as well as an encouraging trend in family birth rates—including more first-borns and larger families. We plan to continue enhancing the program to make having a large family an attractive and respected choice,” said Maria Kobzeva, Deputy Director General for Public Relations at Delo Group.
The corporate demographic support program has been in place for nearly three years. It offers a range of benefits, including substantial incentives for the birth of a third child—most notably, a payment of 1 million rubles. The program also includes financial support for the first and second child, assistance for parents returning to work before the end of parental leave, compensation for kindergarten costs, and vouchers for children’s health camps. To date, more than 2,000 employees have participated in the program, and 68 families have received the 1 million ruble benefit for the birth of a third or subsequent child. < Back to list
